A Teen Classical Pop Piano Solo That Almost Never Ends

A pop piano solo that never ends can be very useful this time of year.

With the summer holidays upon us, your piano parents may need a break from their teenagers. They can ask them to fold laundry or unload the dishwasher, but then they’ll just be back 5 minutes later.

If parents really want a break, they need their teenagers to practice a pop piano solo that almost never ends.

In today’s post, we’re sharing a two-page, teen piano piece that uses a color-coded repeat section to provide “endless” musical enjoyment.

And the best part is… you (or the parent) can dictate how many repeats you wish a student to play before finally reaching the ending.

Also in this post, we’ll expand on another wonderful use for this piece that almost never ends because, like many parents, Trevor and I happen to love having our teenager around. In fact, I think she would rather we played a piece that never ends 🙂

One More Use For Never-ending Music

As your teen piano players become more accomplished, they will discover that people will start to ask them to play at weddings, restaurants, and dinner parties.

Most teenagers only have experience playing a performance-polished piece one time through, after which they get a chance to take a break, regroup, and start something new.

But if they have been asked to provide some background music, they will need experience playing polished music for long amounts of time.

Acquiring this skill takes practice, so your students should start now with today’s piano piece that is composed for level 2B students or older.

More Pop-Infused Teen Piano Solos

When it comes to teen repertoire, we focus on creating a bridge that connects today’s piano students with the most popular classical pieces from the past.

This classical pop crossover approach is at the heart of our most popular teen books, including titles like The Amadeus Anthems, The Beethoven Sessions, and, of course, the WunderKeys Intermediate Pop Performance books.

You can click on an audio sample below to hear our approach in action.

If you enjoyed the piano pieces above, then your teen piano students will fall in love with our WunderKeys Intermediate Pop Performance books.

Today’s Classical Pop Piano Solo

The music we’re sharing today is a pop-infused piano solo that almost never ends. Composed in the key of G major it can be learned as a study piece for students working in a level 2B book or as an easy piece for students working in a level 3 book.
